My Functional Sculpture Journey began during the Spring of 2022, I entered a new realm of creativity. I shaved my head and chose a sustainable way to transform and reuse these braids into tactile tokens of imagination. I began making decorative functional art. It began with an idea to create a jewelry holder made of my braids, lampshades, treehouses and the list is growing.
