If I Were To Be Frozen In Time Forever In This Moment, I'd Be Okay With It

This is a self portrait with representations of who I am with a surprise of my reflection within the TV. I wanted to capture the essence of what its like to live in my bedroom. And also to remind my audience modern technology has taken the joy out of every day experiences. I so easily get lost scrolling in my phone and entitled to the instant gratification it brings me. But using a Walkman or watching my VHS TV allows me to do a bit more work for my reward and to slow down, and be present.
